Converse

Converse began in 1908 as a rubber shoe company specialising in galoshes*. Soon after, they started using their rubber to make sneakers, and in 1920, renamed their canvas basketball sneaker the All Star. The name stuck. Since then you’ve started wearing Converse All Stars to do whatever you want. You play music, make art, skate the streets and kick back. You wear them as fashion, to work, and customise them with your personal style. You saw unlimited potential. To this day, this spirit continues. They have become a part of you. They are Made by you.

*galosh is an overshoe made of rubber slipped over shoes to keep them from getting muddy or wet (ask your grandparents)
